New faces at Coalition for Efficiency

We are delighted to announce that Angela Schlenkhoff-Hus joined Coalition for Efficiency in November 2018 as our new Programme Director.

Angela joins us from Volunteering Matters where she was Deputy Head of Employee Volunteering. Whilst at Volunteering Matters, Angela managed a variety of volunteer programmes and oversaw the operation’s impact management and reporting.

In recent years Coalition for Efficiency has worked closely with Volunteering Matters to design, test and scale the Measuring the Good programme during which Angela has played a fundamental role in enhancing its quality and reach. We are delighted that she will now be responsible for developing and delivering our initiatives to provide effective and affordable support so that small organisations can build their impact and learning practice.

Angela holds a PhD in Social Anthropology from the University of Kent which explored identity amongst Afghan refugees in London. She co-edited a book on Afghanistan and published several articles and blogs about Corporate Social Responsibility and Employee Volunteering.

This year Coalition for Efficiency also received support from Tania Han through the On Purpose Associate programme and from John Barrett in a freelance capacity. We would like to thank them both for their kindness, encouragement and invaluable strategic support. We are thrilled that they will be staying on as advisors.
