Antonia Orr to step down as CEO of Coalition for Efficiency in Autumn 2021

After 6 years of leading the Coalition for Efficiency, Antonia Orr will step down as CEO at the end of August.

Under Antonia’s leadership the organisation has grown its reach significantly and now plays a vital role in the impact ecosystem, providing practical and effective support to many of the UK’s small charities, community groups and social enterprises in their impact measurement journey. Antonia has helped to cultivate a committed and diverse community of volunteers and partner organisations who have been instrumental in amplifying the organisation’s impact.

Antonia commented: “I remain fully committed to and passionate about the social sector and particularly to supporting the many brilliant small organisations who are driving change and providing a lifeline for their communities. However, after a demanding year balancing the needs of a growing organisation and my family commitments, the time is right for me to make space for new leadership and fresh energy.

“It has been a privilege to do this job, and I have loved it. I feel proud of what we have achieved through the genuinely collaborative approach that we have taken. There are so many people I need to thank – all our supporters, our allies, funders, partners and volunteers, our Chair and trustees and also my wonderful team.”

The board is delighted to announce that Angela Schlenkhoff-Hus, currently the organisation’s Programme Director, will take on the role of interim CEO from September 2021.

Tom Levitt, Chair of Trustees: “On behalf of the Board of Trustees, I would like to thank Antonia for her hard work and dedication during her time as CEO. The Trustees are working closely with Antonia and Angela to ensure a smooth transition as we embark on the next stage of our journey.”

For any organisations and volunteers currently participating in our programmes, our delivery will continue as normal. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Antonia or Angela
